Junior Merchandiser - Ar-Ruwais, UAE


We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Merchandiser to join our team in Ar-Ruwais, UAE. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with product planning, inventory management, and analyzing sales data. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and a passion for retail.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the merchandising team to plan and develop product assortments
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of products
- Analyze sales data and make recommendations for product pricing and promotions
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity to inform merchandising strategies
- Assist with creating visual displays to showcase products in-store
- Communicate regularly with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products
- Participate in regular store visits to gather customer feedback and assess product performance

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
- Passion for retail and knowledge of current market trends
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic language skills are a plus)
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

Salary:
Salary for this position is 1000$ per month.

Location:
This position is based in Ar-Ruwais, UAE. Local candidates are preferred but we welcome applicants from all nationalities.

Contract Type:
This is a contract position with the potential for extension based on performance.

Experience:
No previous experience is required for this role. However, candidates with prior retail or merchandising experience will be given preference.

Other Requirements:
Candidates must possess a valid biometric passport and be willing to travel within the UAE for store visits as needed.
