Cashier for Nizwa, Oman
We are in need of a reliable and experienced Cashier to join our team in Nizwa, Oman. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions, processing payments, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate should have a friendly demeanor, good math skills, and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide friendly and efficient service
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash, credit card, and other forms of payment
- Maintain an organized and clean checkout area
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Keep track of inventory levels and assist with restocking when needed
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred
- Good math skills to handle cash transactions accurately
- Excellent interpersonal skills to provide great customer service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is an advantage
- Must have a biometric passport for visa processing purposes
