Head Chef


We are seeking an experienced and talented Head Chef to join our culinary team at our high-end restaurant in Nizwa. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing menus, managing food preparation and kitchen operations, training and supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring the highest quality of food and service is consistently delivered to our guests.

Responsibilities:
- Create innovative and high-quality menus that cater to our guests' preferences and dietary requirements
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation to ensure consistency and perfection
- Manage kitchen operations including inventory management, budgeting, ordering supplies, and maintaining hygiene standards
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, safety procedures, and menu knowledge
- Collaborate with the restaurant manager to plan special events or promotions
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment according to health codes and company standards

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent education preferred
- Extensive knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, food safety regulations, and menu development
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to create innovative dishes while also maintaining consistency in taste and presentation

Salary: 1300$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Nizwa (Nizwa residency preferred)
Employment Type: Full-time (with own visa)
