Accountant vacancy in Khasab Oman

Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Khasab. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of financial tasks, including preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and managing accounts payable and receivable. You will also be responsible for overseeing the work of junior accountants and ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, and payments
- Reconcile bank statements and other accounts to ensure accuracy
- Oversee the work of junior accountants by providing guidance, training, and feedback
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Assist with budgeting process by providing financial insights and recommendations
- Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting or finance role
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Experience with accounting software such as Quickbooks or SAP
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently
- Strong communication skills

Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)
