Executive Chef - Al Ahmadi, Kuwait
As an Executive Chef at our upscale restaurant in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food and service. Your creative vision and leadership skills will be essential in driving our business to success.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and update menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current food trends
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including sous chefs, line cooks, and dishwashers
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure all food safety standards are followed in the kitchen
- Monitor food costs and make adjustments to maintain profitability
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests
- Create daily specials that showcase your culinary expertise
- Stay updated on industry trends and introduce new techniques or dishes to keep our menu fresh
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant setting.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, equipment, and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Creativity and passion for creating innovative dishes that exceed guest expectations.
- Ability to manage a budget effectively.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation:
