Contract Instrument Technician
Location: Nizwa, Oman



We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Instrument Technician to join our team on a contract basis in the beautiful city of Nizwa, Oman. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and control systems used in industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, test, and maintain instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, etc.
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning instruments and control systems.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and perform preventive maintenance.
- Read technical diagrams and blueprints to determine the location of equipment and wiring.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure proper functioning of instruments.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues or concerns.

Requirements:
- Diploma or certificate in Instrumentation Technology or related field.
- Proven experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and instrumentation principles.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Good physical stamina to work in different environments (i.e. confined spaces).
- Good communication skills.

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1300$ per month.
