Instrument Technician - Nizwa, Oman

We are searching for a skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in Nizwa, Oman. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and control systems used in industrial or manufacturing environments. This is a contract position with a competitive salary of 1200$ per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install new instruments and control systems according to manufacturer's instructions and industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning instruments and control systems.
- Perform regular maintenance on instruments to ensure optimal performance.
- Calibrate instruments as needed to maintain accuracy.
- Keep accurate records of all work performed and report any issues or concerns to the supervisor.
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in instrument technology.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, thermocouples, flow meters, etc.
- Experience with programming and troubleshooting electronic control systems.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to instrument installation and maintenance.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical degree or certification in Instrumentation or a related field.
- Experience working with biometric passport systems is a plus.
