Librarian Assistant
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Librarian Assistant to join our team in Khasab, Oman. In this role, you will assist the librarian in managing the library's collection, providing reference services to patrons, and maintaining the overall organization of the library. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a library and possess strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the library's collection by shelving books, cataloging new materials, and maintaining an organized system
- Provide reference services to patrons by helping them locate materials, answering questions, and providing recommendations
- Assist with circulation tasks such as checking books in and out, issuing library cards, and collecting fines
- Monitor the library's inventory levels and assist with ordering new materials when necessary
- Help maintain a clean and welcoming environment for patrons by tidying up shelves, tables, and study areas
- Collaborate with the librarian to plan and implement educational programs or events for library patrons

Requirements:
- Prior experience working in a library or similar setting
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and work independently as well as part of a team
- Familiarity with various reference resources such as online databases and search engines
- Proficient in using computer systems for data entry and record keeping

Salary:
Starting salary of 1800$ per month with potential for increase based on performance.
