Executive Chef Assistant

As an Executive Chef Assistant, you will support the Head Chef in managing the daily operations of the kitchen in a high-end restaurant in Doha. You will assist with food preparation, cooking, and plating, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed. This role requires strong communication skills as you will be working closely with other members of the kitchen staff. Your creativity and attention to detail will be key in developing new dishes and menu items. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a desire to learn from experienced chefs.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation and cooking according to restaurant standards
- Ensure that all dishes are presented beautifully and in a timely manner
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Contribute ideas for new dishes and menu items
- Follow all safety and sanitation rules and regulations
- Keep track of food cost and portion control

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a professional kitchen is preferred but not required
- Passion for food and willingness to learn new techniques from experienced chefs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Biometric passport or ability to obtain one is required for visa purposes
- Must be able to speak English fluently
