Pastry Chef - Al-Rayyan, Egypt
We are seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team in Al-Rayyan, Egypt. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing delicious desserts and pastries for our restaurant. Your role will involve working closely with the kitchen team to ensure high-quality and visually appealing desserts are served to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and create new pastry dishes that meet our restaurant's standards and customer preferences
- Prepare a variety of desserts such as cakes, pastries, cookies, and other sweet treats
- Ensure all ingredients used in pastry making are of high quality and stored correctly
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies when needed
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times
- Train junior pastry chefs on pastry making techniques and recipes
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to create dessert menus for special occasions or events
- Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper hygiene practices
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a restaurant/hotel setting
- Knowledge of different types of desserts, baking techniques, and flavor combinations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred
Salary:
The salary for this position is 1800$ per month.
