Executive Chef
Location: Al Ahmadi, Kuwait
We are seeking an experienced and talented Executive Chef to join our team in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait. As the head of our kitchen, you will be responsible for creating and executing innovative dishes, managing a team of chefs and kitchen staff, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and unique menus that cater to the preferences of our diverse clientele
- Manage inventory, ordering, and budgeting to ensure cost effectiveness
- Train and supervise a team of chefs and kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Monitor food quality and consistency, making adjustments as needed
- Collaborate with management to plan special events and promotions
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate them into menu development
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, menu development, food safety standards, inventory management, budgeting, and cost control
- Creativity in developing new dishes while also being able to execute classic recipes flawlessly
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Must have experience working with Indian cuisine
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1600$ per month along with accommodation.
