Head Chef
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team in Ar Rumaythiyah. As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, creating and executing menus, and ensuring high-quality food production. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1700$.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute menus that are both creative and meet the needs of our customers
- Oversee the preparation and cooking of all dishes to ensure quality and consistency
- Train, manage, and schedule kitchen staff to maintain an efficient and productive team
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain smooth kitchen operations
- Maintain food safety standards and ensure compliance with all health regulations
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items or special promotions
- Handle any customer complaints related to food quality or service in a professional manner
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate kitchen staff
- Strong organization skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed
Preferred Requirements:
- Culinary degree from an accredited institution
- Experience working in African cuisine or familiarity with African flavors is preferred but not required
