Clinical Dietitian

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Dietitian to join our team in Nizwa. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will be responsible for assessing the nutritional needs of patients and developing personalized diet plans to promote their health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' dietary needs based on their medical conditions, medications, and lifestyle
- Develop individualized meal plans that meet patients' specific nutritional requirements and preferences
- Monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to their diet plans
- Educate patients on healthy eating habits and provide guidance on how to make sustainable lifestyle changes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and nurses, to ensure coordinated care for patients
- Keep accurate records of patients' dietary intake, progress, and any concerns or issues that arise
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition to provide evidence-based care

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Clinical Dietitian in a hospital or clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy for various health conditions
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and motivate patients
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Detail-oriented with excellent record keeping skills

Preferred:
- Master's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited institution
- Experience working with diverse patient populations, especially those with chronic diseases
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
