Instrument Technician
As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments used in a variety of industries. This includes but is not limited to measuring and control devices, such as pressure gauges, thermometers, flow meters, and transmitters. You will work closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure that all instruments are functioning properly and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair instruments according to specifications
- Test and inspect instruments using various tools and techniques
- Create reports on instrument performance and recommend necessary repairs or replacements
- Collaborate with other technicians to complete projects in a timely manner
- Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times while working with electrical equipment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification in instrumentation technology or a related field preferred
- Experience working with different types of instruments
- Knowledge of electrical systems and wiring diagrams
- Ability to read technical manuals and follow instructions accurately
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Physically fit to handle instruments in various environments (e.g. confined spaces)
- Good communication skills in English
Salary: $1600 per month
Location: Abu Dhabi
Employment Type: Contract (6 months)

Note: This is an entry-level position suitable for candidates without prior experience in the field of instrumentation. Training will be provided on the job.
