Instrument Technician for Oil and Gas Industry in Bayan, Kuwait


We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Instrument Technician to join our team in Bayan, Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various types of instruments and control systems used in the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, test, troubleshoot, and repair various types of instrumentation including flow meters, pressure gauges, temperature sensors, level controls, and control valves
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on instrumentation equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with instruments using technical manuals and diagnostic tools
- Document all repairs and maintenance performed on instrumentation equipment
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve complex issues
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working on instrumentation equipment
- Keep accurate records of inventory levels for spare parts and equipment
- Provide training to new technicians as needed

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an instrument technician in the oil and gas industry
- Knowledge of various types of instruments used in the oil and gas industry
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, and diagrams
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and pressure gauges
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and communicate technical information to non-technical personnel
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license is preferred

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1500 per month.

Contract Type:
This is a contract job with the possibility of extension based on performance.
