Welder (Al Buraymi, Oman)


We are in need of a skilled Welder to join our team in Al Buraymi, Oman. As a Welder, you will be responsible for using specialized equipment to join or cut metal parts and maintain the cleanliness and safety of the work area.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welder
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Knowledge of different welding techniques (MIG, TIG, ARC)
- Familiarity with safety precautions and procedures
- Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy equipment and materials
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Certification in welding from a recognized institution is preferred

Responsibilities:
- Study blueprints, sketches or specifications to determine the required materials and welding methods
- Set up welding machines based on the project requirements
- Operate various welding equipment such as MIG, TIG, ARC welders
- Clean and prepare metal surfaces before welding by removing rust, dirt or debris
- Follow safety procedures at all times while working with hot metals and hazardous materials
- Inspect completed welds for accuracy and ensure they meet quality standards
- Repair any defective welds or equipment malfunctions
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition
- Communicate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1600$ per month for this position.

This role is based in Al Buraymi, Oman. Candidates must be able to work without accommodation.
