Executive Chef


We are in search of an experienced and creative Executive Chef to join our team in Manama, Bahrain. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes that meet our customers' expectations.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the kitchen team, providing guidance, training, and motivation.
- Develop new menu items while maintaining existing ones to ensure variety and quality.
- Monitor food costs and maintain inventory levels to stay within budget.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Collaborate with management to plan budgets, events, and special promotions.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of fresh ingredients.
- Conduct regular inspections of kitchen equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Create schedules for kitchen staff to maintain adequate coverage during peak hours.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel.
- Excellent knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and food presentation.
- Ability to manage a large team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach to training and developing staff.
- Knowledge of menu planning, budgeting, and inventory management.
- Understanding of food safety regulations and ability to implement them effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with suppliers, management, and front-of-house staff.

Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or 10 years as a Sous Chef in a fine dining establishment.
- Valid Food Handler's Certificate or similar certification required.

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1500 per month. Additional benefits may be negotiated based on experience and qualifications.
