Job Title: Senior Librarian

As a Senior Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library and its resources in Al-Malikiyah. Your main duties will include organizing and cataloging materials, assisting patrons with research and inquiries, and overseeing library programs and events.

To excel in this role, you must have a minimum of 5 years experience as a librarian and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. You should also have a strong understanding of library operations and technology.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the library, including opening/closing procedures, circulation services, and interlibrary loan requests
- Organize and maintain the library's collection of books, periodicals, multimedia materials, and digital resources
- Assist patrons with reference inquiries, research projects, and locating materials within the library
- Plan and coordinate educational programs, workshops, and events for all age groups
- Train new staff members on library procedures and provide guidance to other librarians as needed
- Keep up-to-date with new technologies in the field of librarianship and implement them into daily operations when necessary

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a librarian
- Strong computer skills with knowledge of library management systems
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff members
- A passion for promoting literacy within the community

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1700 per month for this full-time position. Benefits such as health insurance may also be provided.
