Cashier - Al-Malikiyah, Syria

We are seeking a friendly and reliable Cashier to join our team at our store in Al-Malikiyah, Syria. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. Your main duties will include operating the cash register, handling cash and credit card payments, and greeting customers with a smile.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter the store and assist them with any inquiries or requests
- Process customer transactions accurately using the cash register
- Accept payments in various forms including cash and credit cards
- Calculate and return change to customers as needed
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift
- Keep the checkout area clean and organized
- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Cashier or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly personality
- Strong math skills with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic computer skills are required for operating the cash register
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 20 pounds
