Pastry Chef for Egyptian Restaurant in Abu Dhabi


We are seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to join our team at an authentic Egyptian restaurant located in Abu Dhabi. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing delicious desserts and pastries that represent the flavors of Egypt. Your main duties will include designing new recipes, managing pastry orders and inventory, and overseeing the pastry team.

To excel in this role, you must have a passion for pastry making and extensive knowledge of traditional Egyptian desserts. You should also have excellent time management skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure. In addition, good communication skills are essential as you will be working closely with other chefs and restaurant staff.

Responsibilities:
- Designing new dessert recipes that reflect the flavors of Egypt
- Preparing a variety of desserts and pastries according to menu specifications
- Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed
- Ensuring quality control of all pastry products
- Supervising and training pastry team members
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborating with other chefs to create cohesive menus
- Following all food safety standards and regulations

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a restaurant setting
- Knowledge of traditional Egyptian desserts is preferred
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail with focus on presentation and taste
- Good communication skills for effective collaboration with other chefs and staff members
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if needed
