We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Librarian to join our library team in Al-Kuwait. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection, assisting patrons with research and reference queries, and maintaining the library's systems and procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the library's collection, including selecting and acquiring materials, cataloging and classifying items, and overseeing circulation processes
- Assist patrons with research and reference questions, providing guidance on how to use library resources effectively
- Maintain the library's systems and procedures, including updating records and databases, processing new materials, and monitoring overdue items
- Coordinate with other staff members to plan and implement programs and events that promote literacy and encourage community engagement with the library
- Stay up-to-date with current trends in literature, technology, and information management to ensure the library is offering relevant resources to patrons
- Train new employees or volunteers on library policies, procedures, and systems

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is preferred but not required
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with the ability to assist patrons of all ages and backgrounds
- Familiarity with electronic resources such as databases, e-books, online journals, etc.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with others
- Prior experience working in a library or related field is preferred but not required
