Office Assistant in Sharjah, UAE
We are a reputable company in Sharjah, UAE seeking an organized and efficient Office Assistant to join our team. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and assisting with daily office operations. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to multitask, and has excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and redirect them to the appropriate department
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and emails
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Keep the office clean and organized at all times
- Assist with scheduling appointments and meetings
- Prepare documents, reports, and presentations as needed
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by management
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications as an Office Assistant or Secretary are a plus
- Proven work experience as an Office Assistant or in a similar role
- Fluent in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
