Contract Librarian

A reputable library in Isa Town is seeking a qualified Contract Librarian to join our team. As a Contract Librarian, you will be responsible for providing library services to patrons, organizing and maintaining library materials, and assisting with research inquiries. This is a contract position with a salary of $1200 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Assist patrons with finding and checking out materials
- Organize and maintain library materials according to established systems
- Assist with research inquiries and provide reference services
- Create and maintain accurate records of library transactions
- Collaborate with other librarians to develop programs and events for the community
- Stay updated on current trends in the field of librarianship

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a librarian or similar role
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of library cataloging systems and information retrieval methods
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preference:
- Experience working in contract positions
- Knowledge of Arabic language
- Familiarity with local community resources
- Visa sponsorship available for non-national applicants
