Senior Chef - Pakistani Cuisine
We are a renowned restaurant in Jeddah, seeking a talented and experienced Senior Chef specializing in Pakistani cuisine. As the Senior Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, creating new menu items, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute menus featuring authentic Pakistani dishes.
- Manage kitchen staff and delegate tasks accordingly.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for necessary ingredients.
- Ensure all food is prepared and served according to food safety standards.
- Train new kitchen staff on menu items, cooking techniques, and safety procedures.
- Create new menu items that reflect traditional Pakistani flavors while incorporating modern twists.
- Stay updated on current food trends and incorporate them into the menu when appropriate.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Chef specializing in Pakistani cuisine.
- Extensive knowledge of traditional Pakistani dishes and cooking techniques.
- Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and procedures.
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop unique menu items.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends.
Salary:
We are offering a salary of 1000$ per month for this position. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
Location:
This position is based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Candidates must have legal authorization to work in Saudi Arabia.
