Head Baker

As the Head Baker at our well-established bakery in Jeddah, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our baking operations. This is a leadership position that requires a highly skilled and experienced baker with a passion for creating delicious baked goods. We are looking for an individual who can lead and motivate our team, maintain high quality standards, and ensure efficient production to meet customer demands.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and standardize recipes for breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods
- Create new and innovative products to keep up with market trends
- Train and supervise baking staff, including scheduling shifts and managing performance
- Ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness in the bakery at all times
- Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed
- Oversee quality control of all baked goods to maintain high standards
- Implement cost-saving measures to maximize profitability
- Maintain records of production levels, sales, and other relevant data

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a professional baker
- In-depth knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate staff
- Strong time management skills to meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must be physically fit as the job requires standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects

Preferred Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or certification in baking/pastry arts
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role
- Experience working in a high-volume bakery or food production facility
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Experience with recipe development

We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month along with visa sponsorship for Indian nationals. This is a full-time position, but we are open to considering part-time options for the right candidate.
