The Dar Kulaib Public Library is seeking a Contract Librarian to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection, providing reference and research assistance to patrons, and promoting library services. This position is open to both national and international candidates.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize the library's collection of books, periodicals, and other materials
- Catalogue new materials using appropriate classification systems
- Assist patrons with reference and research inquiries in person or via email/phone
- Promote library services through outreach programs and events
- Maintain accurate records of library transactions and statistics
- Train and supervise other library staff as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience working in a library setting, preferably in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of cataloguing systems and information retrieval techniques
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide high-quality customer service
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is preferred

We offer a competitive salary of 1800$ per month, with the possibility of renewal upon successful completion of the contract. The position also includes free visa sponsorship and round-trip ticket to Bahrain.
