Job Title: Librarian

The Medina Public Library is seeking a highly organized and customer service-oriented Librarian to join our team. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection, assisting patrons with research and reference inquiries, planning and implementing programs and events, and providing excellent customer service to all library visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the library's collection by selecting, acquiring, cataloging, and maintaining materials in various formats
- Assist patrons with research and reference inquiries by providing guidance on how to use library resources effectively
- Plan and implement programs and events for all age groups to promote literacy and community engagement
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting patrons, answering questions, issuing library cards, and resolving any issues or concerns
- Collaborate with other librarians to develop policies and procedures that align with the library's mission and goals
- Stay up-to-date with current trends in library services, technology, and resources in order to make recommendations for improvement

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a library setting
- Strong knowledge of library principles, practices, methods, and techniques
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse groups of people
- Proficiency in using library databases and other technology tools for research purposes
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed

Salary: $1000 per month

Contract Type: This is a contract position.

Location: Medina, Saudi Arabia (but open to all nationalities)
