Our retail store in Hawalli is seeking a full-time Cashier for our English-speaking customers. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. We are looking for someone who is fluent in English and has excellent communication skills to effectively assist our customers. Previous cashier experience is preferred but not required. As a Cashier, your main responsibilities will include:
- Greeting customers as they enter the store and assisting them with their purchases
- Scanning and processing items accurately and efficiently at the checkout counter
- Accepting various forms of payment and making change as needed
- Maintaining a clean and organized checkout area
- Handling customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional manner
- Promoting store loyalty programs or special promotions to customers
- Ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately on the cash register system
