Librarian

Our library in Al-Rayyan is looking for a dedicated and experienced Librarian to join our team. This full-time position is suitable for men who have a passion for books and information management. As an English-speaking library, we are specifically seeking candidates of Indian nationality with excellent English language skills.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the library's collection, including cataloging, organizing, and maintaining inventory
- Assist patrons in finding and accessing resources, both physically and digitally
- Develop and implement programs to promote literacy and encourage the use of the library
- Provide reference services and research assistance to patrons
- Maintain accurate records of library usage and circulation statistics
- Collaborate with other librarians and staff to plan and execute events and activities for all age groups

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience working as a librarian in a similar setting
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in using library management systems and digital resources
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

This position offers a salary of $1700 per month and is open for individuals who have their own valid visa.
