Customer Service Cashier

We are in search of a dynamic and friendly Customer Service Cashier to join our team in Al-Khor. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. Your main duties will include scanning items, handling cash and credit card transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. The ideal candidate will have previous cashier or retail experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position with accommodation provided and is open to Indian and Malayalee candidates who are fluent in English and possess a biometric passport.

As a Customer Service Cashier, your responsibilities will include:

- Greeting customers with a warm welcome and offering assistance with their purchases
- Scanning items accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Processing cash, credit card, and other forms of payment
- Counting cash at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure correct amounts
- Maintaining an organized checkout area by restocking bags, receipts, etc.
- Answering customer inquiries professionally and resolving any issues or complaints
- Keeping track of inventory levels and notifying management when items need to be restocked
- Following all company cash handling procedures and policies

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cashier or retail experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)
- Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 20 pounds
- Biometric passport required for visa processing
