Housekeeping Manager for Malayalees at Umm-Said


We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Umm-Said, Qatar. As a Malayalee, you will have a strong understanding of the cultural preferences and expectations of our guests. Your main responsibility will be to oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping department, ensuring that our guests' rooms and common areas are clean, well-maintained, and meet our high standards of cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement housekeeping procedures in line with company standards and guest expectations
- Train, supervise, and motivate a team of housekeeping staff to maintain high levels of efficiency and effectiveness
- Schedule and assign daily tasks to housekeeping staff, ensuring that all rooms are cleaned in a timely manner
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ordering replacements as needed
- Inspect guest rooms regularly to ensure they meet cleanliness standards before check-in
- Respond promptly to guest requests or complaints regarding the cleanliness or maintenance of their room
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Conduct performance evaluations for housekeeping staff and provide feedback for improvement

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management is preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Housekeeping Manager in a hotel or resort setting
- Prior experience working with Malayalee employees is a plus
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Salary:
Salary for this position is $900 per month.
