Part-Time Crane Operator

We are in need of a skilled and experienced part-time crane operator to join our team in Muscat, Oman. As a crane operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy objects at construction sites and other locations. This is a part-time position with accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain cranes according to safety standards
- Inspect equipment before use to ensure proper functioning
- Follow instructions from site supervisors or project managers
- Use hand signals or radios to communicate with ground crew
- Understand load charts and calculate appropriate lifting capacities
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any malfunctions or damage
- Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a crane operator
- Valid certification or license for operating cranes (e.g. CPCS)
- Ability to read and understand load charts and other technical documents
- Knowledge of different types of cranes and their capabilities
- Physical strength and stamina to operate heavy machinery for extended periods of time
- Good communication skills to effectively communicate with ground crew and supervisors
- Attention to detail and strong focus on safety protocols
