Carpenter

A reputable construction company in Doha is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. You should have a keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills to ensure quality craftsmanship on every project.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to plan carpentry tasks
- Measure, cut, shape, and join materials (e.g. wood, fiberglass) according to specifications
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings and moldings
- Inspect workmanship and ensure that all materials are used properly
- Repair or replace damaged or faulty parts
- Follow safety procedures at all times
- Collaborate with other construction professionals on site (e.g. electricians)
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
- Ability to read technical documents (e.g. blueprints)
- Good understanding of basic math principles (e.g. geometry)
- Physical strength and stamina to handle manual labor tasks
- Attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Valid biometric passport

We offer competitive salary package of 1700$ per month along with benefits such as health insurance, annual leave, and end-of-service gratuity. This is a full-time position with flexible working hours available.
