Front Desk Receptionist for Hotel in Al-Rayyan, Qatar
We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at a hotel in Al-Rayyan. As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will play a crucial role in creating a positive impression of our hotel.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel
- Check guests in and out, ensuring all necessary information is collected and accurately recorded
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and room changes
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and redirect calls to the appropriate department
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
- Assist with guest requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain an organized lobby area and ensure it is always clean and presentable
- Process payments for room charges, meals, and other services
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in hospitality is a plus
- Proven work experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic or Urdu is preferred but not required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently with attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills
- Flexibility to work different shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
We offer competitive salary of 1600$ per month along with benefits such as accommodation allowance, transportation allowance, health insurance, and annual leave.
