Contract Truck Driver in Salalah, Oman

We are hiring a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team in Salalah, Oman. As a Contract Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently to their designated destinations. This is a contract position with a salary of 1500$, and accommodation will be provided.

Responsibilities:
- Operate assigned truck in a safe and responsible manner
- Load and unload goods from the truck using appropriate equipment
- Plan routes and follow delivery schedules to ensure on-time delivery
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pick-up and delivery times
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck, reporting any issues or malfunctions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, deliveries, and other relevant information
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck at all times

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Truck Driver, preferably in a contract role
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) issued by the state of Oman
- Clean driving record with no traffic violations or accidents
- Ability to operate various types of trucks with different capacities safely
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy loads repeatedly
- Good communication skills in English
- Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance
- High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred:
- Experience using GPS systems for navigation
- Knowledge of traffic laws in Salalah, Oman
- Fluency in Arabic
