A prestigious hotel in Jeddah is seeking a talented and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing pastries, desserts, and other sweet treats for our guests. You will also be responsible for managing the pastry department, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen.

Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare various pastry items including cakes, cookies, pastries, and other desserts
- Develop new recipes and keep up-to-date with industry trends
- Decorate pastries using various techniques to ensure an attractive presentation
- Manage the pastry department by scheduling staff, ordering supplies, and maintaining inventory levels
- Ensure all food safety standards are met in the kitchen at all times
- Train new staff members on pastry techniques and procedures
- Collaborate with other chefs to create menus that incorporate pastry items
- Keep up-to-date records of food costs, waste control, and equipment maintenance

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel environment
- Knowledge of different pastry techniques including baking, decorating, and plating
- Creativity and attention to detail when creating new recipes or decorating pastries
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong leadership skills to manage a team of pastry chefs and assistants
- Good communication skills in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $900 per month along with benefits such as accommodation allowance, flight ticket allowance, medical insurance, and annual leave.
