Welder

The Welder will be responsible for performing various welding techniques to join, fabricate, and repair metal structures and equipment. This position requires a skilled individual with experience in welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding. The ideal candidate should have a strong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to read blueprints and work from technical drawings.

Responsibilities:
- Perform various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and stick welding
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times
- Inspect materials for defects prior to welding
- Operate equipment such as grinders, cutters, and welders
- Fabricate or repair metal structures and equipment as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in welding techniques (MIG, TIG, stick)
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or in a team setting
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects if needed

Preferred:
- Certification in welding techniques from a vocational school or similar program
- Previous experience working with structural steel
- Experience in operating various types of equipment

This is a full-time position with a salary of 1700$ per month. This position does not include accommodation. Applicants must have their own valid visa. This job is suitable for men who are fluent in English. As this job is located in Lusail, Qatar preference will be given to Indian nationals or those with previous experience working in Qatar.
