Part-Time Cashier
Location: Salalah, Oman
We are in need of a reliable and customer-oriented Part-Time Cashier to join our team in Salalah, Oman. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and math skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide them with exceptional service
- Operate cash register and handle all cash transactions accurately
- Scan items and ensure pricing is correct
- Collect payments from customers and issue receipts or change
- Maintain an organized and clean checkout area
- Handle returns or exchanges according to company policies
- Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products or services
- Keep track of inventory and inform supervisor when stock is low
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Basic math skills, including the ability to calculate discounts, percentages, etc.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling cash transactions
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed
Salary:
The salary for this part-time role is 900$ per month.
