Executive Chef
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at our upscale restaurant located in El-Ain, Egypt. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating exceptional dishes using fresh and local ingredients, as well as experience managing a team of talented chefs. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$ per month.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute menus for daily service, special events, and private dining
- Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and consistency
- Manage inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients
- Train and mentor junior chefs in cooking techniques and menu development
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in the kitchen
- Collaborate with management to create budget plans and control costs
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into menu offerings
- Handle any customer complaints or concerns regarding food quality or service
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a fine dining establishment
- Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavors
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Ability to create unique dishes while also managing food costs
- Familiarity with inventory management systems
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Fluent in English
