Contract Driver - Salalah, Oman


We are in need of a reliable and skilled Contract Driver to join our team in Salalah, Oman. As a Contract Driver, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our company vehicles while providing safe and timely transportation services to our clients. This is a contract position that offers a salary of 1300$ per month with visa sponsorship for non-Omani nationals.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and/or passengers to designated locations
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while ensuring the safety of yourself, passengers, and cargo
- Perform routine inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition
- Report any vehicle malfunctions or accidents immediately
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods as needed
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and other necessary documentation
- Follow designated routes or use navigation equipment to reach destinations in a timely manner
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients, assisting with their needs, and answering any questions they may have

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license for the country of employment (or ability to obtain one)
- Clean driving record without any major traffic violations within the past 5 years
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Familiarity with GPS devices and other navigation tools
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays if necessary
