Head Baker

We are searching for an experienced Head Baker to oversee our bakery operations in Al-Khor. As the leader of our bakery team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality baked goods, managing inventory and ordering supplies, and ensuring a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the bakery operations, including production, inventory management, and customer service
- Create and maintain high-quality baked goods while adhering to health and safety regulations
- Train and supervise bakery staff, including bakers, decorators, and assistants
- Develop new recipes and products to meet customer demand
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Monitor sales trends and adjust production accordingly
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations across the entire establishment

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a baker or pastry chef
- Proven leadership experience in a bakery setting
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Ability to create new recipes while also following established recipes accurately
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively train and supervise staff members
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if necessary

Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree or certification from a culinary school or equivalent training program in baking or pastry arts.
- Experience working with both traditional baked goods as well as more specialized items (gluten-free, vegan, etc.)
