Barista Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Barista Assistant to join our team at a busy coffee shop in Jizan. As a Barista Assistant, you will work closely with the lead barista to prepare and serve high-quality coffee drinks and other beverages. This position is ideal for those looking for temporary work or without previous experience as we provide on-the-job training.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead barista with all aspects of coffee preparation, including grinding, brewing, and steaming milk
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take customer orders accurately and process payments
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop and equipment
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure food handling practices are followed
- Restock supplies as needed throughout the day
- Provide exceptional customer service at all times

Requirements:
- No previous experience required, but knowledge of coffee preparation techniques is a plus
- Must be able to handle cash transactions accurately
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic language skills are also preferred)
- Must be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes precisely
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
- Must have flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
