Librarian Assistant

We are currently hiring for a Librarian Assistant to join our team in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the librarian with various tasks such as organizing and maintaining library materials, helping patrons with research and locating resources, and managing the circulation desk. The ideal candidate should have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for books and knowledge. This is an entry-level position suitable for freshers or those with limited experience in the field. Accommodation will be provided for non-locals, but having a biometric passport is required. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in the field of library science while living in a vibrant city like Al Ahmadi.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist librarian with cataloging and organizing library materials
- Help patrons locate resources and provide research assistance
- Manage circulation desk by checking out and returning materials
- Maintain order and cleanliness of the library space
- Assist with planning and implementing library programs and events
- Process new materials for circulation
- Keep accurate records of library usage statistics

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field (preferred)
- Experience working in a library or customer service environment (preferred)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Passion for books, learning, and providing excellent customer service
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team

Salary: $900 per month (negotiable based on qualifications)

City: Al Ahmadi, Kuwait (candidates must be willing to relocate)

Nationality/Location Preference: Indian nationals preferred but not required.
