Radio Technician

Our company in Khasab is seeking a skilled and experienced Radio Technician to join our team. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing radio equipment used for communication purposes. This may include radios used in vehicles, marine vessels, or other types of equipment. The ideal candidate should have experience working with biometric passport technology and be able to troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise.

Responsibilities:
- Install and set up radio equipment according to specifications
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on radios as needed
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions
- Keep accurate records of all work performed
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in radio technology
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide suitable solutions

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Radio Technician or similar role
- Familiarity with biometric passport technology
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented and able to keep accurate records
- Willingness to stay updated on industry advancements and new technologies

Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position. Additional certifications or training in radio technology are preferred.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1800$ per month for this position.

Location:
This position is located in Khasab, Oman. Candidates who are already based in Khasab will be given preference.
