Executive Chef
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Muscat. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu creation, food preparation, and ensuring high-quality and consistent dishes. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in fine dining cuisine.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and create new menus that align with the restaurant's concept and target audience
- Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations and high-quality dishes
- Create and maintain food cost control measures to maximize profitability
- Oversee food preparation and ensure all dishes are consistently prepared to the highest standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as an Executive Chef in a fine dining establishment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and industry trends
- Ability to create innovative menus while also maintaining classic dishes
- Excellent time-management skills to meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards
- Attention to detail and passion for creating exceptional culinary experiences
Salary:
Salary for this position is $1300 USD per month without accommodation. Visa sponsorship is available for non-Omani nationals.
