Executive Chef

Our hotel in Muscat is seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and managing kitchen staff. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious and innovative dishes, as well as strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and update menus to meet guests' needs and preferences
- Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, food safety, and sanitation procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to quality standards
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment in the kitchen

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Extensive knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and ingredients
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team effectively
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed
- Biometric passport (preferred)
- Experience working with seasonal ingredients (preferred)

We offer a competitive salary of $1100 per month for this seasonal position. Please note that this is not a live-in position. Accommodation will not be provided.
