Mason - Nizwa, Oman (Visa Sponsorship Available)


We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mason to join our team in Nizwa, Oman. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing stone, brick or concrete structures. This position requires a high level of technical knowledge and physical strength, as well as experience in using various tools and materials.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the materials required for a project
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, chalk lines or marking gauges
- Spread mortar or other adhesives onto surfaces for securing bricks or other construction materials
- Lay bricks or other construction materials in horizontal courses using various techniques
- Cut and trim bricks or other construction materials to fit into irregular spaces
- Use hand tools such as hammers, chisels, levels and trowels to shape, trim or clean construction materials
- Mix mortar or grout according to standard formulas
- Build corners with corner bricks or by interlocking units in patterns at corners following blueprints and specifications
- Clean excess mortar from finished joints using trowels and scrapers
- Repair cracks, holes or other damaged areas in brickwork or concrete structures

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mason in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of masonry techniques and safety procedures
- Ability to read blueprints and work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods of time
- High attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Must have valid visa sponsorship for employment in Oman
- Experience working on contract jobs preferred

Salary: 1300 USD per month
