Executive Pastry Chef - Al-Kuwait



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Pastry Chef to join our team in Al-Kuwait. As the Executive Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our pastry department, including creating and executing menus, managing inventory and budgets, training staff, and ensuring high quality and consistent production of pastries. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1300$ per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create and execute innovative pastry menus that meet the needs and preferences of our customers
- Manage inventory to ensure availability of ingredients and supplies at all times
- Maintain budgetary goals by monitoring costs and making necessary adjustments
- Train, mentor, and supervise pastry staff to ensure high quality production and customer satisfaction
- Oversee the preparation, baking, decorating, plating, and presentation of pastries
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute special events or promotions
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques or ingredients into menu development

Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred but not required
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Pastry Chef in a high volume establishment or luxury hotel setting
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively train and motivate a team
- Knowledge of various cooking methods for pastries including baking, decorating, plating, etc.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Fluent in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)
- Must be willing to relocate to Al-Kuwait if not already residing there
