Job Title: Executive Chef at a Luxury Resort in Al Ahmadi
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead the culinary team at our luxury resort in Al Ahmadi. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and implementing menus, ensuring high quality and consistency in food preparation, and managing the kitchen staff. You must have previous experience as an Executive Chef and be able to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop menus that align with the resort's concept and meet guest's dietary needs
- Train and manage kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to food safety and hygiene standards
- Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain high quality and consistency
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with other departments such as purchasing, sales, and marketing to ensure smooth operations
- Create cost-effective strategies to maximize profits while maintaining quality standards
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a luxury hotel or resort setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- Excellent knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices
- Ability to create innovative menus that meet guest expectations while staying within budget constraints
- Proficient in inventory management and cost control techniques
- Creative problem solver with strong communication skills
Salary: 1800$ per month (with accommodation)
