Instrument Technician


We are hiring an Instrument Technician to join our team in Nizwa. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and equipment used in industrial settings. You will work closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure the proper functioning of instruments and equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair a wide variety of instruments such as pressure gauges, thermometers, flow meters, and analyzers.
- Troubleshoot instrument malfunctions and perform necessary repairs.
- Calibrate instruments according to manufacturer's specifications.
- Test new instruments for accuracy and functionality.
- Keep accurate records of instrument maintenance and repairs.
- Collaborate with engineers to identify potential problems with instrument functionality.
- Maintain inventory of necessary supplies for instrument maintenance.
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with industrial instruments preferred but not required.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of instrument calibration methods.
- Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints.
- Familiarity with electrical systems is a plus.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

Salary: $1000 per month

Location: Nizwa, Oman (Preference given to Omani nationals or candidates already located in Oman)
